Amanda Burleson, Medical Assistant

Amanda is one of our medical assistants. She has been with Texas Midwest Gastro for 6 years, with no plans to let them retire. =) She began her medical career in Montana caring for residents in an Alzheimer’s Care Unit. She signed on with Benefis Health Systems to obtain her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and gained knowledge from pediatrics to oncology and ICU. She found her way back to Texas where she grew up and was employed at Hendrick Medical Center for a year before coming to be with Dr. Patel at Texas Midwest Gastro. Amanda strives to efficiently communicate between patients and providers and maintain treatment plans. When Amanda isn’t at work, she enjoys time with her husband, children and 2 dogs.
